2012 Pace Performance FASTRAK Northeast “Futures Cup”

Eligibility:

• Ages 19 & under only (FASTRAK reserves the right to verify age, if necessary).  Those that turn 20 during the season, but after July 31 will still be able to participate.

• Those under 16 should verify eligibility at each individual track. 

• Those 18 & 19 cannot have more than 1 prior season of FASTRAK experience (8 or more events = 1 season)

• No headlining division experience, i.e. Super Late Model, Big-Block Modified, Sprint Car

• Prior Futures Cup champions will be ineligible in future years.

Points:

• Must be a FASTRAK Member (Weekly and/or Touring)

• Points will be awarded to member driver

• Based off best 15 finishes in any FASTRAK-sanctioned event (April-September).  Points begin when membership is completed & paid.

• Bonus points determined by addition of point scores from 3 FASTRAK Futures Cup "Trifecta" events in which only eligible drivers are able to compete in.  Events will use standard FASTRAK point system.    

• Top drivers in points will receive cash and contingencies with champion also receiving jacket & plaque

The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events.  These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and, by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules.  No expressed or implied warranty of safety shall result from the publication of or compliance with these rules and/or regulations.  They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or official.

The race director shall be empowered to permit reasonable and appropriate deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that in his opinion do not alter the minimum acceptable requirements.  No expressed or implied warranty of safety shall results from such alterations of specifications.  Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials.  Their decision is final.

On occasion when situations arise that are not covered by written rules, special rulings may be put into effect by the track officials.  Once such rulings are acted upon, they may become an act of policy and will be added to the existing rules of procedures.
