COMPETITOR DISQUALIFIED FROM FASTRAK NORTHEAST LATE MODEL TOURING SERIES VICTORY AT LERNERVILLE; MAX BLAIR CREDITED WITH WIN & ROBBIE BLAIR BILL EMIG MEMORIAL “WILD CARD” CHAMPIONSHIP

(Pulaski, PA)…Following the results by an independent lab of tire samples taken after the Lernerville Speedway FASTRAK Northeast Late Model Touring Series event on Monday, May 30, it was determined that apparent race winner and Bill Emig Memorial “Wild Card Weekend” Champion Russell King’s tire did not match the factory benchmark.

 

With the disqualification, Max Blair has been awarded his second Northeast Touring Series victory of the season and all-time leading 11th of his career.  Max’s father Robbie has also been declared the Bill Emig Memorial “Wild Card Weekend” Champion.

 

King will forfeit his winnings and hardware from May 30 as well his FASTRAK points earned to date and has been imposed a $2,000 fine as his first offense.
